GB0GWR

This years Railways on the Air event will take place on the weekend of the 25th - 26th of September.

As in previous years CARA is putting on the special event station (GB0GWR) to publicise the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway, the special event station wil be located in the Car Park adjacent to the Cheltenham Racecourse Railway Station.

We hope to be in contact with many of the other RotA special event stations over the weekend.

Visitors will be welcome and will have the opportunity to see various aspects of amateur radio in operation, this is expected to include HF, VHF and UHF bands, with voice and data communication modes (including D-Star).

For details of other RotA stations visit the new Railways on the Air site.

Note: Due to a major land-slip the Railway Station will NOT be open to the public and there will be no trains at the station this year.
